Welcome to the Summer Gaming Academy
 

Harrisburg University of Science and Technology and the Center for Advanced Entertainment and Learning Technologies is accepting applications for the Summer Gaming Academy.

The Summer Gaming Academy is a three-week intensive commuter summer program designed to introduce passionate young game designers and developers to the methods and technologies used by professional game makers throughout the world. The program focuses on all aspects of the creative process from ideation to problem-solving to delivery. Students will develop skills and strategies to prepare them for a future in the digital media industry.

Students entering grades 8 through 12 wishing to expand their artistic, storytelling or programming skills should attend this unique program. The Summer Gaming Academy is an immersive experience designed for high school students interested in video games, interactive simulations, new media and/or the digital arts.

The Summer 2010 Academy is $900, that's less than half the price of last summer, but will be twice as fun. Join us for one or two sessions where students will explore careers in the video game industry.
